She had been a lifelong communicant of St. At the age of 59 she made a career change and worked as a nursing assistant at the Brockton VA Medical Center in the Psych and Surgical wards. For many years she worked in local shoe factories including Bridgewater Co-Op and ET Wright in Rockland. She remained a life long resident and was a graduate of Brockton High School and attended Catherine Labourea School of Nursing. Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice(Zenkevicz) Zamaitis. (Zamaitis) Moneikis, 97 years died Friday at West Acres Nursing Home.
